I have always enjoyed businesses that are fun! Creating magical products that bring a sense of wonder and joy to children (and adults) is the best part of what I do. For 6 years The Artful Fairy was an enchanting spot to foster imagination and creativity. The tradition carries on in our Etsy shop and our website for all to enjoy. And, although the Fairies have moved on to new places, it's because of them I get to share the fun and magic with you.
My Story
Welcome to my world of creativity! I’m Lisa, and my journey began as a teenager crafting handmade keychains and magnets with my Badge-A-Minit machine (I still have it!!) and selling them to friends and in a local gift shop.

That early spark grew into a trail of colorful ventures—quick breads and balloon bundles in college, sand art and wax hands at festivals, even tie-dye tees at the Lilac Festival. If it brought smiles and a little mess, I was probably behind it.
Eventually, one booth stood out: a DIY fairy garden station that invited kids (and secretly, just as many adults) to build tiny worlds filled with moss, magic, and miniature wonder. What started as a weekend setup turned into something bigger—a full-fledged creative space where birthdays became adventures, grown-ups rediscovered their crafty side, and kids got to make something all their own.

And, while the magical storefront no longer hears the joy and laughter it used to, that spirit lives on in every kit, class, and ornament I offer. It’s not just about making—it’s about connecting, laughing, and finding joy in the process.
